Besides a couple of overdue blog posts and letters, I have several books due tomorrow…
I’m using them as reference for my class report (Philippine economy from psotwar to present) on Saturday.
Last year was a handful for me but I like challenges and I like multi-tasking so it was a good year. Among the things that I was happy about was pursuing graduate studies. Of course it will probably take me more than two years to complete the UP Asian Center’s Philippine Studies program (development studies track) with all the things I am doing right now…but it’s worth it.
I’ve been learning a lot from my classes. It also helps in my work (in Congress and as a freelance writer). It just takes a little of my time…but I love staying at UP (even at the library) so no problem with that.
I also spent the holidays baking.
My New Year’s resolution is to graduate from making brownies and try baking cakes.

How about you? What are you up to?

still writing! but i have recently had a crash course in baking a chiffon cake and chocolate cupcakes. Just to be knowledgeable about the craft though. No intention of putting it to actual use.
